LA fire relief efforts through the pizza community: Chris Wallace of Ozzy’s Apizza

When wildfires hit Los Angeles, Chris Wallace and the team at Ozzy’s Apizza didn’t think twice — they just started helping. They opened their doors to anyone who needed a place to go, delivered pizzas to first responders, and helped raise over $70,000 for relief efforts alongside the Slice Out Hunger community.  This is what supporting your neighborhood looks like.

It started with a simple Instagram post offering a safe space for those without power, but as the stories of destruction poured in, they realized the need was much greater. For Chris, the decision to step up wasn’t even a question. “Pizza is a community food. It brings people together.” His entire team rallied behind the cause, working extra hours and strengthening their bond in the process. Through their generosity, Ozzy’s Apizza didn’t just feed people—they reminded their community that no one has to go through hardship alone.
