Mark, the general manager at Buddy’s downtown Detroit location has been part of the Buddy’s family for two years. “It’s legendary. I grew up on Buddy’s Pizza,” he shared, emphasizing the deep-rooted connection the community has with this iconic spot.
Running a location directly across from multiple sporting venues brings its challenges, especially during major events. Mark credits his team for handling the rush with ease and enthusiasm. “I have a great staff that just says basically, ‘Bring it.’ That’s what they’re here for, and they have a great time doing it,” he said.
