At Pizza Ella, you’ll meet husband and wife duo, Lital and Jehuda Alali — who combine flavors from Israel, Italy, and New York — all in the heart of Texas.
Descending from Tel Aviv, the couple serves their native food for breakfast, including shakshuka, Israeli salad, borekas, and 5 tapenades. Whether you’re an early bird or a brunch lover, customers can access this menu until 2pm. The evening rush is when they focus on their signature pizzas and pastas, including specials like a New York-style pizza, wood-fired bread, and sweet potato ravolis.
All their food is kosher — which means they don’t mix meat and cheese together. They decided to make their shop completely vegetarian, with cheese as the star of the show. Lital wants people to know, “Kosher is not a bad word, it doesn’t mean that it’s going to be expensive. It’s going to be weird, but it’s amazing flavors.”
Pizza Ella hopes to expand their menu, locations, and marketing efforts in the future. Having only been open for a few months, they are dedicated to building their legacy day-by-day.
