As Vinny nervously prepared to showcase his pizza-making skills, Ciro wandered over, inspected his dough, and playfully poked at it. Ciro declared that Vinny was going to win. And he was right. For the Lubrano Lavadera brothers, pizza is in their DNA. Growing up between Italy and the U.S., their father owned pizza shops, making the restaurant world a second home. As Ciro says, “I feel more comfortable within the restaurant walls than outside them.”
