Set Delivery and Pickup ETAs in Owner’s Portal
Overview
Shop owners can set their own delivery and pickup ETAs directly from the Owner’s Portal (web). This allows shops to adjust estimated times without contacting Slice Support or using other tools.
Delivery and pickup ETAs are managed separately, and any changes are reflected immediately across customer-facing ordering and in the Register.
How ETA settings work
ETAs set in the Owner’s Portal are used as the default estimated times shown to customers when placing orders.
- Delivery and pickup ETAs are set separately
- Changes apply to all new orders
- ETA updates appear immediately on:
- Direct web ordering
- Online ordering (web, app and Google)
- Register
- Direct web ordering
Manually adjusting the ETA for a specific order in the Register will override the default ETA only for that order.
How to update ETAs in the Owner’s Portal
To update your ETAs:
- Go to the Owner’s Portal (web)
- Navigate to Time Management
- Open the ETA tab
- Set delivery and pickup ETA intervals separately
- Choose from existing presets, or
- Create a custom interval
- Choose from existing presets, or
- Save your changes
A confirmation message will appear once your updates are saved.
Things to know about ETA settings
- ETAs you set in the Owner’s Portal become your default delivery and pickup times
- Updates apply right away and are shown to customers when they place new orders
- Your delivery and pickup ETAs will match everywhere customers and staff see them, including online ordering and the Register
- You can still adjust the ETA for a single order directly from the Register without changing your default settings
