Bringing a pizza legacy from The Bronx to Texas

Bek’s Nizza Pizza is not just a pizza shop – it’s a piece of family history and New York tradition brought to Texas.

Beckham Luci grew up in The Bronx, New York with pizza “in his blood”. His family has owned and operated pizzerias across New York since the 1970’s. After one family member ventured to Texas in the 90’s to pursue a life there, it presented an opportunity for the entire family to make a change. They decided to move their business to Arlington and brought their authentic recipes with them.

Their motto at Bek’s Nizza Pizza is “keep it hot, keep it fresh”. Each employee takes pride in their fresh, homemade ingredients. They are constantly switching out the items and making them on-site. Their commitment to hot and fresh food comes from Bekham’s father, who instilled in all of his family members the value of high quality food and customer satisfaction.

Bek’s Nizza Pizza is all about the people – both behind the counters and within the community. As Bek says, “the best part of owning a pizzeria is continuing my family’s legacy”. This goes beyond his long line of pizza shop relatives. Many of his employees have been with him since he first started, and local customers feel like part of the family.

He makes local customers feel included in their crew by giving back to the community every chance he can. On Friday nights, he gives away free medium cheese pizzas. Aside from the joy it brings him to make his customers happy, they spread the word about Bek’s Nizza Pizza and bring in more loyal customers day by day. Bekham hopes to keep the New York family tradition alive in Texas for generations to come.
