Slice App

The Slice App provides your customers with a mobile-friendly way to browse your menu, customize their order, and check out seamlessly. Here’s how it works and how you can manage it using the Owner’s App:

  • Business Hours: Adjust your ordering hours in the Owner’s App to control when customers can place orders in the Slice App.

  • Menu Categories & Layout: Reorganize your menu sections and reorder items within each category to highlight bestsellers or seasonal specials.

  • Item Availability & Pricing: Mark items as sold out or temporarily unavailable and update pricing as needed to keep your menu accurate.

  • Online Discount: Adjust your online order discount in the Owner’s App to offer special deals to customers placing orders through the app.

Changes made in the Owner’s App – Web update your Slice App menu in real time, ensuring customers always see the latest options and pricing.

Browsing the Menu:

  • Customers can navigate between categories like Appetizers, Pizza, Specialty Pizzas, and Calzones using a horizontal menu at the top.

  • If your shop is closed, they can still schedule orders in advance.

Customizing Items

When a customer selects an item, they must first choose the size or type. If only one option is available, it will be selected automatically. Optional add-ons, like toppings or extra ingredients, can be added as well. If your shop offers half toppings, customers can choose to apply them to the left half, right half, or the whole pizza.

At the bottom of the order, customers can add special instructions for the kitchen. If a request requires an extra charge, you can manually adjust the total in the Order Management screen on your iPad before finalizing the order.

The review order page allows customers to check their bag, log in or enter contact details, select a payment method, and choose whether to include utensils. Before completing their order, they can edit or remove items, add a tip, enter pickup instructions, and apply a promo code. You can create new promo codes in the Owner’s App.

The Napkins & Utensils Opt-In ensures customers are asked at checkout if they want utensils included, helping reduce waste and comply with local laws. If your shop does not offer utensils, call (888) 974-9928 to disable this question for your customers.

For tipping, pickup tips go directly to your shop, while Slice Delivery tips go to the driver.
