National Pizza Month: Celebrate With the Pros While Growing Your Pizzeria
“Every pizza that goes out my door carries a piece of my story. The long nights, the early mornings, the recipes passed down or perfected over time, they all come together in every slice,” Tori from Tori T’s Pizza starts.
“National Pizza Month is a reminder of why I started this journey in the first place: to bring people together, one pizza at a time. I’ve seen first dates turn into regulars, families celebrate milestones at our tables, and kids grow up coming in after school for their favorite slice.”
National Pizza Month is more than a “holiday.” It’s a nod to the magic and connection you bring into the world.
Since 1984, when Pizza Today decided pizza deserved its own month-long celebration, October hasn’t been the same. That idea still rings true: great pizza is about people.
We’re proud to celebrate the independents who keep this spirit alive — one dough toss, one delivery, one late-night rush at a time.

Stuck on how to celebrate National Pizza Month?
Tori at Tori T’s Pizzeria in Malverne, NY came up with an interesting and out-of-the-box (no pun intended) way to celebrate National Pizza Month: a chance to win a trip to Turks and Caicos.
When Tori decided to close her kitchen to focus entirely on pizzeria, she needed a way to promote this business shift.
“I am always trying to think of something out of the ordinary. It changed the narrative very quickly after closing the kitchen,” explains Tori. “It made people want pizza with this great idea of them winning something. It’s one thing to win a gift card, it’s another for a trip.”
